The beauty of macro photography is that it is everywhere and easily accessible almost year-round. You don’t have to go far, not much planning or preparation is needed, it doesn’t have to be expensive either. The ability to disconnect in almost an instant made me fall in love with it. My favorite subjects of course are insects and arachnids, but plants and fungi do not remain unnoticed. All my subjects are alive only and I do not use any stacking or heavy editing.
